Jake has been interested in writing since he was about fifteen and loves to write fiction in particular. His favorite author is Ted Dekker, and he is also a fan of Frank Peretti, Jerry B. Jenkins, and classic authors like Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. Some of his favorite subjects to write about include mostly realistic fiction involving either modern-day or fantasy themes. He's also interested in eventually writing about space. Besides writing, Jake likes to play guitar and piano, star-gaze, and run.
